The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices of La Ville Hotel & Suites City Walk, Autograph Collection (which is referred to as “we”, “our”, “us on the website www.livelaville.com and our associated subscription platform MiLeisure.com (collectively the “Services”). It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your information and how you can access and update this information.

By accessing and using the Services on this website, you become a user of the Services (the “User”, “you”, “your”) and acknowledge and agree to the following Privacy Policy (the URL of this page is www.livelaville.com/privacy).

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from the User in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when the User accesses the Services, register on the websites of the Services, fills out a form, and about other activities, services, features or resources we make available on the Services. The User has the option to navigate the Services anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from the User only if the User voluntarily submits such information to us. These voluntary data include fields such as name, email, phone and company information, email address to be used for permission-based subscription to our email alerts, e-newsletters, and promotional emails, and logins to access portions of the Services. Such subscription activities are based out of our subscription platform mileisure.com. The User can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain activities related to the Services.

For each User accessing the such specified services, our web server automatically recognizes and collects only the User’s IP address, aggregate information on what pages the User accesses, as well as information volunteered by the User.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about the User whenever the User interacts with the Services. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, operating system or any such information which is not connected to identify or trace the User as a person.

Web browser cookies

The Services may use cookies, invisible pixels, web beacons and other technologies to obtain information about the User. A cookie is a text file that is sent to the User’s browser from a web server and stored on the User’s computer's hard drive. It assigns the computer a unique identifier which becomes the User’s identifier when the User returns to the Services and related sites. The User may adjust the Internet browser to reject cookies; however, rejecting cookies might affect the User’s ability to perform certain transactions, and some parts of the Services may stop functioning properly for the User. Information collected from invisible pixels is used and reported in the aggregate.

As a subscribing user to this website’s email marketing system driven through MiLeisure.com or, we acknowledge that the User has the right to access the User’s personal information. An individual who no longer seeks to receive emails from us may auto-unsubscribe from email lists.

Information sharing and disclosure

We will never use, sell, share, disclose, or rent any internal or customer supplied data to any clients, prospects, or other third-parties other than to any venture arising from the constituent hotels within this platform. We will share user information with third-parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy. If the Company, Provider and/or Services are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of their assets, the User will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of the User’s information, as well as any choices the User may have regarding the User’s information.

Third-party services used

We make use of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for the collection of usage statistics for the Services. Both tools are proprietary of Google, Inc. who may use information collected through said tools for commercial purposes, including, but not limited to, search and ad personalization. How to access and control your personal data

The User can view, edit, or delete the User’s (whatever minimalistic) personal data online. However, the systems used for the Services require a double-layer verification to access this section of the system. The User can also make choices about our collection and use of the User’s data.

EU residents and the GDPR

Though made applicable to all, acknowledging to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) of the European Union (EU), we emphasize that EU residents have rights to access personal data about them, and to limit use and disclosure of their personal data. We are committed to respect those rights. We acknowledge potential liability in cases of onward transfer of personal data to third parties who do not meet the criteria as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

We use an annual self-assessment to review the Company’s and the Provider’s compliance with this Privacy Policy. Any employee of the Company or the Provider who violates this Privacy Policy will be subject to discipline, up to and including termination of employment.

We warrant that all customer data remains the property of our customers. We also will not rent, sell, transfer, or otherwise expose the contents of the tracking information resulting from click-through, message opened, message read, or e-commerce conversions.

In general, we do not collect data on this website. However, we follow generally accepted standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. This is applicable to our data handling service platforms like MiLeisure.com. This website, www.livelaville.com, provides an SSL-encrypted, password-protected mechanism. We seek to use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect personal information within our organization. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Social media features

Our website includes social media features, such as links to our Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Google Blogger, LinkedIn and Twitter pages. These features may collect the User’s IP address, which page the User is visiting on our Services, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third-party or hosted directly on the Services. The User’s interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Table reservation features

We enable online table reservations on behalf of restaurants and lounges listed on the Services through a third-party vendor, eat2eat Pte. Ltd. By providing personal information for a table reservation, the User’s data is transmitted to hosted on the servers of eat2eat Pte. Ltd., which are subject to this same Privacy Policy. Unsolicited commercial email (SPAM)

Our marketing communications come from the sender email address mailing@mileisure.com. The Company is committed to providing a permission-based model for email marketing. To that end, we carry a strict anti-spam policy for all our clients. We have explicitly prohibited our staff from sending any unsolicited material to users who have not expressed their permission to receive communications from them.

Updates to this policy

We may change this Privacy Policy. The “LAST UPDATED” legend at the top of this page indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised.     1.     7. Our Sites may provide you with the ability to use usernames, passwords, or other codes or devices to gain access to certain portions of our Sites (“access codes”). You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access codes and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your account in our sole discretion and without prior notice to you wherever there is a reason including, for example, if you violate any part of these Terms of Use.

With respect to all communications you make to us regarding Marriott Information including but not limited to feedback, questions, comments, suggestions and the like: (a) you shall have no right of confidentiality in your communications and we shall have no obligation to protect your communications from disclosure; (b) we shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose and distribute your communications to others without limitation; and (c) we shall be free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, content or techniques contained in your communications for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to the development, production and marketing of products and services that incorporate such information. The above is limited only by our commitment and obligations pertaining to your personal information (for more information, please see our Privacy Statement).

    11. Marriott Information may contain technical inaccuracies and typographical errors, including but not limited to inaccuracies relating to pricing or availability applicable to your transaction. Neither Marriott nor Ritz-Carlton assume responsibility or liability for any such inaccuracies, errors or omissions, and shall have no obligation to honor reservations or information affected by such inaccuracies. Marriott and Ritz-Carlton reserve the right to make changes, corrections, cancellations and/or improvements to Marriott Information, and to the products and programs described in such information, at any time without notice, including after confirmation of a transaction.

    12. Some areas of our Sites are restricted to travel agents or other authorized representatives. The Marriott Information contained in such restricted areas is confidential to Marriott, and is provided for business use only, which includes reviewing commission status and statements, and enrolling in our Electronic Funds Transfer program as described below. We reserve the right to prohibit access to, or use of, these restricted areas where we determine that such use or access interferes with our Sites’ operations or that such use or access results in commercial benefits or other entities to our detriment. If you are a travel agent or authorized representative of a travel agent using our Sites the following apply:
    13. Passwords: We have provided you with a unique password so that access to information related to your agency and transactions can be restricted to only those individuals to whom you provided the password. It is your responsibility to protect the confidentiality of the password. Neither Marriott nor Ritz Carlton assumes any liability for any access to information or transactions that are executed with the password provided to you. We strongly recommend that you change the password on a periodic basis and whenever a travel agent leaves your travel agency or you suspect that knowledge of the password is no longer limited to those whom you have authorized.

      Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT): Marriott may be able to make commission payments by electronic funds transfer (EFT) through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) System. If you complete the EFT registration process provided on our Sites, completion of the process signifies that you: (1) authorize Marriott and/or Ritz-Carlton to make payments by EFT; (2) certify that you have selected the designated depository institution and provided the correct account information; and (3) accept that all such EFTs will occur in accordance with the following: (i) you will give thirty (30) days’ advance notice to Marriott of any changes regarding your depository institution or other payment instructions; and (ii) you accept that all U.S. direct deposits are made with a payment type of “CTX”.

      No Arrangements for Prohibited Persons: Each of Marriott International Inc. and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC is a United States company and is prohibited from providing services to certain “prohibited persons” who are government officials or residents of certain embargoed countries, or terrorists or drug traffickers whose names are published on lists maintained by the United States Department of Treasury. You agree to use all reasonable efforts not to arrange for any of these prohibited persons to stay at, use or tour any Marriott or Ritz-Carlton facilities.


    14. Our Sites contain information on Marriott and Ritz-Carlton worldwide products and services, not all of which are available in every location. A reference to a Marriott and Ritz-Carlton product or service on one of our Sites does not imply that such product or service is or will be available in your location.

    15. Any use of the maps functionality on this site shall be governed by the End User Terms of Use for Microsoft’s Bing Maps application. Marriott shall have no liability for your use of Bing Maps or for any results, including driving directions, generated by Bing Maps.

    16. If you choose to leave our Sites via links to other third party websites, including those of advertisers, our Terms of Use and our Privacy Statement will no longer apply.     17. These Terms of Use shall be construed and enforced under the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, applicable to contracts executed and performed within Maryland, USA. You specifically agree and submit to the jurisdiction of the State and Federal Courts situated in the State of Maryland and stipulate to the fairness and convenience of proceedings in such courts for all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of our Sites. You will not object to jurisdiction or venue on the grounds of lack of personal jurisdiction, inconvenient forum or otherwise. You agree that you will not file or participate in a class action against us. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHT YOU MAY NOW HAVE OR HEREAFTER POSSESS TO A TRIAL BY JURY.
